The Monts d’Ardèche Regional Nature Park was officially created in 2001, the result of an initiative launched in 1992 by the chestnut growers : aware that they share a natural and cultural heritage, they have done all that is in their power to conserve the region’s outstanding landscapes, historical monuments and traditional rural skills.
