The major event of the autumn

Every autumn, head for the Ardèche Mountains to share in the festivities surrounding the great chestnut fairs, or Castagnades From mid-October to mid-November, the heart of the Park beats here, where producers of chestnuts, chestnut-based products, craftspeople, artists, local people and visitors all get together. Every weekend, there’s something on in at least one town or village in the Park in celebration of the chestnut.
