The regional nature parks are some of France’s most beautiful inhabited rural areas. Only areas of outstanding interest in terms of their heritage (natural, scenic or cultural) are entitled to the quality label of “regional nature park”, and the signatory parties of the Charter pledge to preserve this heritage by means of sustainable development and above all, care for the environment. To accomplish its mission, the regional nature parks recruit a multidisciplinary team to enable it to tackle development issues throughout the territory they cover.
